Our Purpose
The mission of the Ambridge Area Junior High Student Council is offer opportunies to develop and apply leadership skills at the junior high level. This goal will be accomplished by providing positive, enthusiastic groups for sharing ideas with their peers, teachers and administration. The student council will also support other groups at the junior high level and perform community service in the forms of fundraising, etc.
1. Student Council members are leaders of the school:
Student Council member are POSITIVE members of our school who want to make positive changes and be a leader.
2. Expectations of a Student Council Member:
Good Grades
Respectful to all
Stay out of trouble
3. Joining Student Council:
Any one can run for an office provided if they meet the expectations listed on the sheet.
All homerooms will elect one homeroom representative.

4. Voting/Positions of Student Council:
8th grade only can run for an officer.
4 offices: President,VP, Secretary, Treasurer
Both 7th and 8th grade students vote for these offices.
